I have been thinking a lot, i like Joshua, but there really isn't any way i can picture him winning. Does anyone think he can win? if so, break it down.
Does ANYONE think Clottey will win?

I think he is going to win because there is not a fighter on this earth that is unbeatable. I see Clottey busting up Manny. All that jumping in and out will not work because Pacquaio will be eating a lot of jabs and straight rights all night. Clottey is a better technically sound boxer than Manny. Manny still makes a lot of mistakes. When people evaluate Clottey they say he is going to lose because of his workrate and stamina. You never hear that he will lose because of his skill level. Think about that for a second. If it becomes a war then Pacquiao is going to get hurt.Comment

he wont win a decision. the only way i see him winning is to catch pac with a good shot and not let upComment

Im not saying he will win , but I am saying , I think he has the perfect style to beat Pac.
The only dumbass to get ko cold by Pac was Hatton. And I have been saying this for a long time. Hatton had been asking to get koed like that. Dont think so. MAYWEATHER ADJUSTED SO WELL , EVEN HE KOED HATTON. And Mayweather is a defensive fighter first , offensive fighter second.
OK WITH THAT SAID.
Clottey doesnt let ppl hit him a lot. His defense is really really good. Ok , Pac stopages imo depend most on punch accumulation. I dont think Clottey's style will allow that. Clottey has a chin of steel. Seriously , I cant remember seing Clottey wobbled or stunned. What did he do when Cotto cornered him in the 7th round. Cover up. And he and we all knew Cotto couldnt hurt him. Not like hes used to. So I say.
So I say Clottey defensive style , will allow him , to NEUTRALIZE Pacs attack , which comes from many different angles , but is really one dimensional , considering that at this point , he relys on his furious crazy-fast attack style. And when he neutralizes his attack , he will capitalize.
****!! it may only be an idea. But after all , I think is the only way possible Clottey beats Pac.Comment

Yes Clottey has a great chance.
Clottey has two of the best weapons to have against southpaws, which is the lead right hand and left hook. Both of those punchers are money punches for him and he posses of of the best left hooks and Straight rights in boxing IMO.
Also people fail to realize that Clottey will outweigh Pacquiao by 20lbs. I mean that is a huge disadvantage especially when you consider Clottey's great defense and granite chin
My last point that I want to bring up, is people saying Clottey has poor footwork and will be a standing target. What people fail to realize is this.....Clottey has way better footwork than both Marquez and Morales. Neither of those guys were sitting ducks and were able to give Pac all types of problems. People say Clottey doesn't have to footwork to beat Pac, but neither did Morales and Marquez and we all saw how that turned out.Comment

I don't know, part of me thinks he might be able to outbox Pacquiao through clean, effective punching while blocking most of the return shots since Pacquiao has shown that his defense has holes against solid boxers like Marquez and Cotto. The other part of me thinks he will become overwhelmed by Pacquiao's activity. However, he did take a 1000 + (compubox record) punches (plaster?) from Margarito and don't recall ever seeing him hurt in that fight. Judah, a southpaw with similar speed and power to Pacquiao, had almost all of punches picked off but then again he doesn't bring the same array of punches and activity as Pacquiao. Clottey will also be the biggest man Pacquiao has ever been in the ring with.
I got to put some more thought into this one before reaching a definite prediction...Comment
