Manny Pacquiao-had to survive on the streets. Gave up schooling to help feed himself and his family. Went pro @ 16 and has been inspiring legions of fans since.

George Chuvalo. Tough as nails. His story on Facing Ali broke my heart.
Never heard anything about it, sadly I still haven't watched the movie.

Me too! He was so incredibly likable in that movie and then he told the story of his wife and sons...I don't cry in movies but that had me close. Tragic.

              1. Ali (Boxing skills, believed in himself and because he changed the lives of the people around him. I hope to meet him some day.)
              2. Roberto Duran (Boxing skills and humbleness. I hope to meet him also)
              3. Sugar Ray Leonard (Strictly boxing skills and smart. I hope to meet him as well)

Chuvalo lost three sons, Jesse Chuvalo in 1985 to suicide, Georgie Lee Chuvalo in 1993 to a drug overdose and Steven Louis Chuvalo in 1994 to drug overdose. He lost his wife to suicide after the second son died.

George Foreman, for being able to transform from a mean hateful dude, to a kind loving respectful dude, and still come back and win the title...

Hatton, for being able to laugh about himself after he loses, its nice to see someone who can take defeat with humor.

Ali - for carrying the olympic touch and exposing his condition - bravery
