Funny stuff by carl. I've always backed Joe in this argument, but i think he's starting to look like a fool. Carl aint dissed you for ages and you feel the need to start the argument back up? Pretty pointless, i think joe's a little jealous and a little bored. If so step up.

Calzaghe is a great, But how can you praise somebody then slag them off, nobody can disagree with carl here, Calzaghe always comes out with statements that dont make sense lmao, he is proper funny when it comes to interviews sometimes, my fav is after he beat bruno or summat like that sobot, he dropped him with an uppercut, and said nobody gets up off my uppercuts on the interview after the fight, only sobot did and it was the later punches that took him out LMAO

Calzaghe never should have fought jones jnr, he should have rematched hopkins aswell. Still a legend though!

I compliment the posters in this thread for being able to assemble as huge an amount of drek (elephant style) as I have seen-other than a zoo or stables. They all must have "taken up" boxing since Calzaghe retired, and not yet seen him on video.

Take it from a boxing guy who's had more experience than you could visualize. There's no comparison whatsoever between a flatfooted pug like Froch, and a boxing artist like Calzaghe, so restrain your intemperate opinions, please......

First off I hate calzaghe but he would mop the ring with froch. Froch is a joke he didn't deserve that knockout win against Taylor who was beating his face in and didn't deserve that nonsense decision against Dirrell who boxed his ears off. The man is a joke and calzaghes name should never come out his mouth.

Personally i always thought Froch had Joe's number on account of how Calzaghe is wide open to the right hand. I dont think Froch would let him off the hook once he had him shook up and I could see Calzaghe being waved off, despite possibly winning at the time. Plus i think Froch would worry Calzaghe all the way until the first bell rung, get inside his head. The cobra is a rangy, awkward, weird opponent to fight - plus he can punch, take a shot and goes like a train for 12 rounds.

I find this hard to say, but I completely agree with Foch's statement here.
My take, Calzaghe is not just grumpy, but a grumpy ***** with an itch to come back.
I can bet all the money I have that within the next six months jerk-off is Unretiring!
