For years WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch has fired verbal jabs at Joe Calzaghe. He is not used to Calzaghe firing back in his direction, unprovoked. On Tuesday Calzaghe ripped Froch by calling him a "spoilt little *****" who always complains about everything. As was said earlier, Froch hasn't mentioned Calzaghe in months, now why is Joe talking ****, if he isn't willing to fight Froch? Pipe down, retire and move on. -
And on the other hand, Carls been calling Joe out forever and now he says "wait in line". Doesn't sound like he wanted to fight Joe that badly. Either that, or this is all build up for Joe to come out of retirement if Carl wins the Super Six Tourney. I think Kessler still has a good chance at beating Carl if he's not out of it mentally. I still think Ward will take the trophy though, so then what for Carl? Back to calling out Joe...."You're back to the head of the line again Mate." LOLComment

even tho joe did tell the truth froch does cry about this and that sounds to me joes itching along the lines of a come back feels hes out of the lime light would be great to see joe come back beat the winner of the super 6 like cause the guy aint realy had the props for what his career deserved 10 year champ beat all time legends jones hopkins a PRIME kessler the kids fell a bit since the joe beating he took same with lacy joe would easy beat all the super 6 fighters no problemComment

Joe calzaghe would make light work of carl froch. I've said this many times on boxing scene. Carl Froch is a ****ing bum. He sucks! If they fight it will be more one sided fight then Calzaghe-Lacy. Someone needs to shut this guy up. And why does boxing scene still get interviews by Carl The **** Froch? He hasn't fought since Dirrel. Calzaghe is the biggest euro ***** in the sport. Shut the **** up joe. All of your big wins have been discredited by other fighters easily beating those guys. Your fight with RJJ was the worst fight I have ever seen and a complete embarrassment to the sport. And you slap like a ***** and have absolutely no power. ****ing euro.Comment

He sarcastically mocks Calzaghe's missing the spotlight and muses about the
fleeting nature of fame and celebrity:
"At the end of the day Joe Calzaghe is yesterday’s news and today’s fish and chip wrappers. It’s sad but true and one day we’ll all be the same– and that’s why I put no value on fame nor the sad people who chase it with every last breath like him. I can only imagine he’ll be starring in Bingo adverts next."
No matter what you think of Froch as a boxer, he's a very funny man,

Apparently Joe misses the attention. Retirement is not agreeing with him, as Froch amusingly points out:
"[Joe's] cherished record that he always blathers on about ... has more question marks on it than The Riddler’s cat suit .. he mentions [it] in every single tedious interview. He can only dine out on that record for so long. He needs to turn it in and put on those comfy retirement slippers."Comment
