I think it's highly unlikely that Khan manages to surpass Hamed's popularity.

I agree, Hamed had a more entertaining style and single shot KO power also you got the feeling he had the potential to be an all time great but the personality that could blow up. All that leads to interest.
Khan comes over as pretty bland personality wise, not a bad guy but not very interesting and he always says the same things. Boxing wise he has a great fight on the outside hit and run amateur style but those that know boxing are not convinced how well he would fare when he steps up in class . With Hamed you always felt he could do damage to the top guys you don't get the same feeling with Khan.
I found the Oscar video very interesting his words and face don't match. Although he was saying great things about Khan's potential future ,it came over as a mantra and not convincing. We all know there were money problems with the Malignaggi fight and having guaranteed a million dollars a fight he looks like a guy that has painted himself into a corner and has miscalculated Khan's US appeal having extrapolated Khan's UK market. There was talk about Detroit being Khan's US venue because of the huge Pakistani population there. Clearly Oscar is doing his best to make the numbers fit and things are not going to his preconceived business plan.
The Maidana deal must have been hard work tying him up and getting him out of the way. Khan has a blind loyal UK following that will fork out for low risk canned fights. I said early on that I don't see the US fight fans suffering that. For him to get the US market he has to fight real fighters and his actions rather than the hype will make the market and if he takes those fights I will be surprised if his chin holds up.

Yeah Naseem was a funny guy and had those crazy ring entrances, so he was definitely more entertaining. But i reckon as a boxer Khan will surpass what the prince did.

Interesting that ODLH speaks about Amira instead of other prospects.

It is a short piece . Pee Wee Herman no doubt had Oscar talking about other fighters and would put that on different footage.
