Guys on here act like Manny was this dominate his whole career and cleaned out every single division he was in.

This is my point about Manny. He's nowhere near the top 10 right now in his career because other guys were better boxers than him and have better resumes than Manny. Manny can keep moving up if he keeps dominating boxing like he's doing right now. Let's wait and see how Manny ends his career before we start saying he's the greatest of all time, top 5 ATG, etc.

I said this a few days ago. in the thread of the voting that had Pac as the #2 greatest fighter of all time and in the top 3 greatest featherweights of all time. A poster named O.S.I.R.I.S, who is also a Pacquiao fan said that he does not rank Pac, named fighters he has ahead of Pac at 126 and one of them was Hamed. Another Pac fan said that Hamed being ahead is a complete joke. And, I pointed out to him that even though Pac is ATG. Argubly the geatest fighter of this era. And, easily a greater fighter P4P than Hamed and that is not even debatable. Pacquiao does not rank very high in none of the weight-classes he fought in. He just did not have the longevity and body of work in not one weight-class... He fought the two or three top guys and moved up. Great accomplishments. But, it hurts his rankings in weight-classes cuz he never set up shop at one weight-class and dominated.... I don't rank Pac top 5 in none of the weight-class he just doesn't have the body of work in every weight-class he campaigned...

A fighter who went the distance with JMM and esspecialy the draw,how can that make him an ATG??

JMM got played by floyd,so floyd should be above the #1 then.

And also every time he fought a good fighter he had trouble..the first fight with morales for example..the second fight morales came in looking like a corpse.

He is not near great,the last decent fighter he fought was barrera and he went the distance with him..how can he be great??


Oscar was weight drained and like roach said he couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

Then he fought hatton,what did roach say?? Roach said ricky was damaged goods after the floyd fight.

And then cotto..you can give him some respect for beating a damaged cotto,but common now does that make him great?? Not near!!


He is a good fighter but he should not be mentioned with legends like suga ray or ali it would be a dissrespect to them!!

I wouldnt take that website serious. It ranks 1,992,328 on Alexa. Just to give you a summary of how far off the ranks that website is, Boxingscene.com ranks 6,465.

No body on BS scene even knew this poll existed until those ****** examiner articles and pinoy sites pooped up back in December with results of Pacquiao being 3rd best.

You can't see Pac in the top 50? Really? Can you make a top 50 list cuz I would love to see it.

He beat JMM and got a draw. And, you ask him how that made him an ATG? Is JMM some kind of a bum or something? JMM is a future HOF'er no? I can point out fighters that Ali and Sugar Ray went the distance with that lesser opponents then what JMM was... So I don't understand your point about going the distance and fighting on even terms with a HOF'er...

Who fought the better version of JMM Floyd or Pac?

Everytime Pac fought a good opponent he had trouble? Was Ledwaba not a good opponent at the time? Was he not aruble the best at very worst #2 behind Paulie Ayala at 122 at the time? How much trouble did Pac have with him? Was the Barrera not a good fighter. Was Barrera not considered the best at 126 at the time and in the top 3 P4P fighter at the time? Oh I forgot you mentioned Barrera was just "decent"

Yes Roach said Hatton was damaged goods. But, that damaged goods was still good enough to beat a top 10 fighter in Malignaggi.

Cotto was considered in the top 3 at WW at the time. And, was coming off a win against a top 5 WW...
