Wlad is special because he hasn't lost or even come close to losing in 6 years.

As for second chances, Lennox Lewis got KO'd twice and got second chances.
He was also called boring as hell, many times (like after his jabfest win over Tua). People cried about Lennox all the time just like they cry about Wlad now. It's boxing, and fans are never happy. When Wlad's done and a bunch of stiffs are trading belts back and forth, people will be saying "Why don't we have a dominant champ like Wlad anymore?"

So true. Sad that people who want the Klitschkos gone don't realize that.

        Jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab.

        Opponent tires/gives up.

        Jab-out.

Or J.O. as it should be called.

        That's Wlad's idea of a KO.

Chambers is a better fighter than the last bunch of Wlad opponents. Chambers is a good fighter imo but i dont think he will beat Wlad, Maybe if Wlad injures him self during the fight he will win.

Nobody can question the dominance of Wlad over the HW division. But to be honest, even though I don't dislike the man, just the boxer, I would be ready for some fresh new blood, a new champion, that is. Wlad has had a great winning streak, dispatching top contenders and undefeated fighters one after another. But since he's boring 80% of the time winning (I'm being generous), since his dominance has become boring, I can only hope he gets ko'ed again soon so that he decides to call it a career and retire possibly as a top 20 all-time HW, which is a great achievement. I mean, who could have wished for the dominance of the great Louis to end when the guy was so entertaining (besides racists of course) ?

Lewis was called boring too. But I've never seen Lewis spend rounds snapping his opponent jabbing hand down instead of doing actual punching to the head and body. Maybe his dominance will be missed. Maybe the belts will go back and forth, but at least, we will be given the chance to have champions willing to entertain, and not only thinking safety first. Maybe Chambers won't be the one to do it, but he'll put on a great effort, and if Wlad fights on long enough, he will fall at some point.

If we take a look at his last opponents : Ibragimov elected to retire since he has made money, he got married and ran some kind of oil business. Chagaev will be fighting some dude for a WBA eliminator. Not bad for a guy who faded into obscurity. After losing to Wlad, Brock got 2 wins to lose in the first round of an eliminatory tournament for the no 1 spot for the IBF, losing to Chambers, then he retired. Thompson has came back with a win and goes on with his career. Rahman career was already on the downslide... Brewster was never on Wlad's level anyway, he capitalized on Wlad running out of gaz (poisoning?) to capture his belt, then was dominated as he should have been, then re-became the journeyman he really is. If we go even further back, Byrd had had a great career, and both times Wlad has become champ beating Byrd, so Byrd made Wlad more than the other way around.

BTW, the Ring still rank both Chagaev and Thompson in their top 10 at HW.

Of course no one can be on top just after suffering a crushing defeat. But did they fade into obscurity ? No.
Just about Brewster, he was shot after the Liakovitch fight. Just compare the first fight against Wlad with the second one and look what Brewster does now! He loses to guys like Oloukun and Helenius. Brewster is shot and the shotness started with the Liakovitch bout where he had an serious eye injury. There are rumors that he can see almost nothing on that eye since then. Other than that he lost his will and heart.

I give Chambers a 2% chance to win. And I came up with the scientific equation by putting all the facts and possibilities together to determine that there is a 2% chance that Wlad will hit himself with an uppercut, see Fury, and knock himself out without the ref noticing and than Chambers will be declared the champ. No, just kidding but I am a Wlad fan and I also happen to like Chambers but I really give Eddie little to no chance simply because of his lack of size and power.

I think Wladimir will win. Chambers is just too small, compared to him.

I was there for that one, and it was impressive -- the "THUD" when Brock hit the canvas followed by the crowd going nuts.

Too bad Wlad didn't follow it up with Ibragimov. He lost the momentum he'd built up in NYC with that one.
Didn't Brock have eye problems and was forced into retirement?

                      Slow down people....

E.C. can win this fight. He's the more skilled opponent between them. W.K. has deceptively quick hands and power but he isn't the most skilled. If E.C. can get him past 5, he will win. I'LL BET On this 1!
