  • Amir Khan has to be the most spoon fed fighter

This kid is has been spoon fed throughout his whole career...he loses to prescott and then fights two more tune up fights with a washed up barerra and then some nobody from ireland...after those two fights he moves up in weight and automatically gets a tittle shot with Koltelnik? Then he ducks his mandatory two times and he's still getting 1.26 million per fight...while other GBP fighters like Diaz and Ortiz barely get half of that...Khan isn't even a draw in the states and I don't think he will be soon...he's not marketable and doesn't even have the charisma to get fans...he just doesn't bring that super star quality...to me he's just a spoon fed fighter, and I think he's getting paid too much too soon and this was a failed investment on GBP's behalf...

not a failed investment, he'll always have millions of British people interested in what he's doing, hell if Audley Harrison could win a couple of big fights people will buy in again. That Olympic hype lasts forever here.

Look at khan's resume and compare it to the other JWW's signed under GBP and tell me Khan's pay isn't rediculous!

He's 23 with a record record of 22-1, he's been fighting for only 4 years, and you're complaining about his resume? The man has incredible skills, and skills pay bills. He was an Olympian, and he's already accomplished more than your boy Ortiz. He's a giant draw in England now with all the hype around him possibly fighting Hatton and Marquez. He has a long time to make up for what he hasn't proved to you at least. Washed up great fighters will always stay good fights, and Amir got a good win over him. He exposed an undefeated fighter in Salita in one round, and completely whiped the floor with Kotelnik. He's still in the beginning of his career and you're complaining about who he's faced?

I wouldnt be surprised if the rumors of salita getting paid to take a fall were true...I hope this signing of Khan motivates Ortiz or Maidana to beat the crap out of this spoon fed kid...he's a world champion with a mandatory and he cant fight him for a year? I thought khan was in a world class level?

you talk as if Amir Khan has been doing that for decades.. Come on.. he's slowly making his way. Let him be at least a solid world champ. If he keeps on fighting journeymen, then post this thread again.
