It could be true, but what do you want him to do?
He has also asked for the best from day one. A lot of Brits disliked how he would want to fight Cassamoayor, Katsidis, Campbell and Juan Diaz when he was getting dropped by bums or just at best, British level top guys.
The guy has always been hungry to fight the best. He even left Warren for perhaps less money to get them too.
He works hard in the gym, one of the fittest and hard working in the wildcard according to Ariza, so it's not like he doesn;t put in the effort.

Any i don't exactly agree with the thead starter i just think Khan should not have been fighting at 135 against 130'ers.
He wanted to fight a champion back then. He was definitely not ready but he did want them.
Juan was a top fighter back then.
Katsidis undefeated
Cassamayor giving his last stand
Campbell just won the belts of Juan

Originally posted by John Locke View PostAnd its been 5 years and he still hasn't fought anyone close to the caliber of those guys, as a champion now, he has a moral obligation to fight the best out there, i am sick of people, yourself EXcluded, using the excuse that he is still green, he ain't a prospect no more.
Now that he is under Roach, he has learnt to use footwork and a high guard. He seems to also turn his body to lessen a punch which is another good subtle thing. Lots to learn, but aslong as it's up, it's good.
Prescott has been exposed by I think Vazquez or someone and Kevin Mitchell as a pure abnger, and only in the first 6 rounds at that.
I do feel that it is time for him to step up.
I do feel he should try, even if he loses.
I do feel that he has the skills to beat Maidana whom I don't think will land enough on Khan. Maidana hasn't faced anyone that good as Khan. Khan will have to be smart, but he should win.
Khan has enough talent to beat Malliagini, but I'm not saying it will be easy.
Khan has enough talent to hold his own VS Bradley for a few rounds whom I rate very highly.
As I said, I want him to face the best and prove himself. He has made the right choice to have Roach and GBP to do that.
Boxing can be frustrating at making fight happen, 2009 and early 2010 showed that with the Pac-May saga.
Let's just hope that Khan fights, and I hope beats some really tough guys.
