This is how he conserves energy. His defense is so good people forget how good is offense is. It's clear Floyd's mastered the art of defense and offense.

He keeps winning, you keep hating. It's a great formula for PPV buys.

he has a high percentage because he doesnt waste punches , and his reflexes are so good , and his counter game is on point!! But he is still a ***** with no heart!!!

PBF wont have 40-0 record if his offense is weak, as simple as that.

No one wins in a competion by defense alone even in basketball you need to shoot the ball to win. The thing is he's not like Cotto, Hatton and DHL who's forcing to shoot and score. PBF do it clean, open and smooth.

His style is made for regular HBO not pay per view. Once he loses he doesn't have anything else that makes him special. Fighters like Mosley, Judah, Delahoya, Trinidad, and even Roy Jones Jr. all rebounded successfully after they lost b/c they had fan friendly styles.

That would depend on if your a casual fan, or a fan of sluggers. Me? I'm a fan of the sweet science, I like to see a fighter completely outclass, outthink, and outbox his opponent, therefore loss or no i'm going to appreciate watching Mayweather fight. Like I appreciate watching Wright, B-Hop, etc.

Floyd Mayweather is 1 of the most underrated athletes in sports today. Fighters like him are always hated on in their era check Ali. I just can't wait to slap 1 of these Floyd haters years from now when they try to pretend like they were not hating.

I'm a fan of the sweet science myself but I would have appreciated Mayweather more had he completley outclassed Margarito (but he who knows plaster etc.) or better opponents worthy of $54.99. When you get the chance to beat up a little guy don't just outclass him go for the killl. Andre Berto is a much more entertaining fighter now that's is the fight I would be willing to shell some serious cash for after Mosley. I don't care about Al Haymon or that Berto is 2 green who cares. Better to lose to Mayweather than to a Collazo or Quintana right!

The boxer in your avatar (Andre Ward) is the underrated playa, he comes to box and out fight you it's entertaining. If Mayweather was fighting at Junior Middleweight I'd understand who wants to take punishment from bigger guys. Just think if Mayweather was to have called out Jermain Taylor and beat that ass. It doesn't matter how he got the victory hell he could of played pitty pat all night and I would have been proud but don't get butt hurt that I call him out cause he doest that with Marquez.

I think people tend to hate on the Pretty Boy because he IS so talented in the ring but always finds excuses to avoid fighters, and thats what frustrates people so much IMO.
