    I've heard that Oscar was never really accepted by Mexican fight fans is that true?

    EDIT: Oscar had a great career as well, shame about the Tito decision

      He is certainly up there with the best Mexican/Latino fighters ever IMO. De La Hoya in his prime was a beast.

        in my opinion De La Hoya in his prime was better then every other Mexican fighter in their prime.

          I won't lie though, there were some that don't like him but its all good. I know a couple of Mexicans that do like him.

                    It was something Steve Kim said on the HBO legendary nights about the Tito vs Oscar fight. I also heard that people didn't like him for beating Chavez. My thoughts on all boxers are if they retire with thier health and money then I'm cool with that, Oscar had a very successful career, too bad alot of people seem to hate on him these days.
