A very small part of me wants to see Green beat Ward just so I can die in peace knowing that all the time I've wasted listening to Green talk about how good he is - instead of proving it in the ring - hasn't been for nothing.

I could see him beating anybody in this tournament by KO in a similar fashion to how Abraham beat Taylor (trailing on the scorecards but still able to get the stoppage).
I agree. He can compete with all those guys.

He didn't put an impressive performance before the ko either. Even the ko wasn't all that impressive. It was like watching some replay...

I this Green guy any good? I haven't seen him fight before so I can't really comment on his style. I do know that Andre Ward is a true student of boxing and he executes very well. Ward will definitely have to use his ring generalship and speed to keep this guy off base if he is as tall and strong as some have suggested.

The Super Six is based on points, and I can't see how it's fair for Green to be sitting with same point tally,(even though it's 0 points), as Dirrell and Kessler, whom both already had to fight an elite SMW, while Green is fresh and rested. Showtime should have forced an eliminator with someone like Bute or Bika, instead of just installing Green into the second round.
I agree, but the eliminator wasn't meant to let a fighter enter the tournament with some points anyway. It was only meant to chose between Bika and Green. Since Bika turned the fight down for whatever reason, they took Green right into the second round.

There are still some unanswered questions about Green, but based on his skills power and all of that, he is definitely a good challenger for Ward or any of them. He has a great left hook. I would say he does nothing in an outstanding way, but everything well. He's not that fast, but his timing might put up for a lack of speed. Anyway, Ward will be a good test to see where he stands in the tournament.

Green is okay and that Codrington fight was solid.

But the first time he looks at his feet (something he does 100 times a fight) Abraham is going to knock him into next week.
