Here is the thing for every post you read about how good Pac is... You have post also saying how one dimensional Pac is, how overhyped he is, how he has no chance against Floyd, how overrated he is, how he went life and death with a guy who Floyd totally dominated, how the only reason he beat Oscar was cuz Oscar was old and weight drained, how the only reason he beat Hatton was cuz Hatton was not the same after Floyd, how the only reason he beat Cotto was cuz he was damaged goods and at a catchweight. And, IF Floyd beats Pac those same posters who wasted all there time trying to discredit and diminish what Pac has done and pretty much saying how Pac has zero chance will come and say how great of a win it was for Floyd... How it was the best win of his career how he beat an ATG... That is what Floyd fans do after every fight for Floyd.... They diminish his opponents and then try to big them up after the fight... To try to make the win better than what it really was... They did it with Oscar, Hatton, JMM, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti... And, they are even going to do it with Shane if Floyd does beat Shane that is...

It means someone who actually has earned the right to be labelled a hall of fame fighter. Most of those guys will either get it due to popularity or sympathy. Guys like Morales Barrera Marquez etc have all had career defining moments worthy of a HOF status.

If we have to question whether or not you deserve to be in that should be a start. Real, legit, bonafide = great fighters. great fighters = great skills & great resumes. Marquez, Morales, Barerra, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Jones Jr. are examples. There aint gonna be no threads asking hmmmm are these fighters hall of famers?

You cant compare boxing to the NFL. When a boxer fights 17 times ( not to mention playoffs) a year every year then you can. Two different sports. 2 different type of Hall of Fames.

Castillo will get in. Gatti is a lock. Corralles is a lock. Oscar is a lock. JMM is a lock.

castillo will NOT GET IN. i bet all my points he wont get in. gatti SHOULD NOT GET IN but will probably get in based on fan friendly fights & his tragic death would probably get in. Corrales is the closest one that you would describe as borderline.

I made a thread asking these very same questions & the historians majority opinion is that gatti, corrales, & castillo are not REAL, LEGIT, BONAFIDE hall of famers.

Yeah I can feel that. I mean Gatti should never be considered for the Hall (if Boxing had the same standards as NFL or NBA). Even at that, I guarantee he will get in only because of his exciting fighting style. But yeah your right...Castillo and Corrales will probably get in just because of their epic fight. Can you imagine Larry Brown (CB for the Cowboys back in the day) getting into the hall of fame just because he had those key INT's in the superbowl against the stealer. I mean and some point, boxing has to really step up the critera in which boxers are allowed in.

I agree I don't like the criteria of the boxing international HOF... I mean the voters suck... That writer who is on Floyd nuts and he writes for boxingscens too I think his name Lyle Fitzsimmons...
