Every State where boxing is held matters. Thats why its to big for one man to accomplish. Hmm about this thought. How about guys like Pac, Hopkins, Khan etc... Implement OST into their fights voluntary;y like Floyd does. Maybe it should start with the boxers.
    u got a point there

like filing a petition with the nsac, or spending his interview time educating the public of the dangers of this epidemic instead of bashing pacquiao. or publicly endorsing his support for someone who does have the power to make a differnce like john mccain who wanted a nationwide boxing czar to standardize the rules of boxing nationwide.

Floyd is not about to go talking to little ass kids in schools about the dangers off drugs ******. How about FLOYD himself do the OST in all his fights. Oh thats right hes already signed off on that. More boxers should follow his lead. Starting with Pac.

What do you mean in the grand scheme of Championship boxing?

So lemme get this str8. North Dakota boxers dont matter. And ONLY Championship fights do matter?

"like i said, start at the top and the rest will follow"

Exactly. Floyd has put the OST 's in all his fights from here on. Other boxers should do the same.

basically, in the sport of boxing...i really dont give a fck about what happens in north dakota or any state where boxing isnt big.
they dont matter cuz nothing happens there.

petition the commissions that have influence and visibility. if they successfully petition the commissions then it'd be completely out of the fighters' hands. it'd be mandatory for everyone.

thats how you clean up the sport.

The "sport" includes North Dakota. You cant say well lets just target the popular states EVERY state holds professional boxing fights. Then not to mention boxing aint only held in the USA.

What about the UK? Europe? Mexico? Philliphines? Canada? Spain? Venezuela?

So now do you see how ridiculous it is to expect ONE MAN to change the sport? Like I said How about the boxers put the OST's in there fights like Floyd does and start there with the FIGHTERS.

theres always a place where he can start....like petition the commissions where he's scheduled to fight.

the fighters themselves cant make OST mandatory

anyways, i dont know why i responded in this thread anyways cuz i dont think floyd gives a fck about cleaning up the sport.

There is no need for that. In EVERY Floyd fight from now on he wil have OST's in them. THATS a start.

Like I said You have the USA, UK, Europe, Mexico, Philliphines, Canada, Spain, Venezuela...etc.

                    Too much for one man.

how the hell does that influence other fighters? he's not cleaning up the sport, he's cleaning up HIS fights. floyd is not a compelling enough figure to influence others to follow suit.

it has to be mandatory. he should try to make OST mandatory. in order for him to do that he has to put pressure on the commissions to do so.
