    Harry Tanamor is a 30 plus years old amateur boxer... and up to now he is one of the best in the Asian region... I beleive he also got silver in the world cup of amateur boxers...

        you still young bro never too late to make changes in your lifestyle. Boxing should keep you in shape and avoid distractions for success.

            Yeah 26's not too old, you still have a few years to develop. To be successful it would require alot of hard work, sacrifice and dedication. You did mean a "successful" amateur boxer right?

            Remember alot of the 17 year old kids you would compete with have been working on it for ten years. So to do any good, you have to work twice as hard.

              I think Nate Campbell started boxing at 27. He's proof that you can start late and still be good.

                  Fight amatuer for about a year or two, but try to stay busy with them fights if its really what you wanna do, boxing can't be a second option, you can't work full time and think about becoming a good pro, after youve had a few amteurs fights if you think your ready then turn pro, but 26 is not that old tu turn back to boxing. Good Luck with your new boxing carreer
