is 26 to old to be an amateur boxer?

i youse to be an amateur boxer when i was 16 to 18 i had 1 loss and 5wins.but once i turned 18 i got into the drinking the weed and the girls and lost interst in boxing training all together,now im 26 ive had all the fun an games ii could have in a life time maybe 2 life times haha,but now i wanna go back into training for amateur boxing and have about 10 fights and if i do any good hopefully go pro.but i was just curious can i be 26 and be an amateur?cause i always fort the amateurs were for the youth...

no, your alright, there are still guys in their 30's who fight in the amatuers, I once fought a guy that was 27 years old when I was 18

when i was fighting i was 72kg i think thats close to middle weight.but now i weigh 83kg,but im pretty sure i can get back down to low 70's if not high 60's.which would be a good weight for me.im 6ft tall.ill giv my self props that i have a pretty strong left jab but not that flashy.but i do hav an excelent right hand hook 2 the body.other than that everything else i need to work on.
