The Malignaggi fight is in trouble because HBO is not willing to pay enough where the license fee pays all of the parties involved and Golden Boy refuses to dig in their own pockets....LOL

Come on Wazaa, rather then accuse or point fingers, respond to the points that he has raised.....

Precisely. Why fight Maidana if he has no chance of winning?

Something to do with Maidana being mandatory, if he ain't willing to fight him next he should give back the belt.

He is not a mandatory anymore now that they have reached an agreement, so Amir Khan does not have to vacate.

Calm down. Amir is still 23 years old and has not reached his peak, and putting him against fighters who are in their peak is obviously not fair to Amir. Besides, Amir will KO the one dimensional Maidana.

Seriously, you haters never get satisfied. After he beats Maidana, you will say beat Prescott. Who else do you want to fight Amir?

Marquez dropped out because he is smart. He knows he cannot beat Amir otherwise why would Marquez drop out of a championship fight at 140 which was lucrative. Don't give me that weight excuse. Marquez wants to fight at 140 and it is evident because he wanted to fight Ricky Hatton in Manchester at 140. Against Khan all of a sudden he is a lightweight now?! Amir was 135 just one year ago.

Listen mate, i'm not getting irate, just trying to have a discussion with you, i mean we are never gonna agree, but if it were that easy there would be no need for these forums would there? Lol.

You mention reaching an agreement with Maidana - that is just another way of paying him off to step aside. You say about Amir as not at his peak and shouldn't be fighting the top guys..... He is a champion now, on paper at least, he IS one of those 'top guys' so you can't pull this, 'he is an up and comer excuse' if he isn't willing to defend against who the owners of his belt tell him to fight, then give it back, let someone else, have a chance to defend it, i'm sure there are plenty out there.

As far as Marquez, he is a super feather who IMO performed badly moving up to 135 let alone 140 how do you think a youg guy, who i admit hits hard, but has the physical attributes of a welterweight atleast would do against Marquez, who is waaaaay beyond his prime....

He is willing to fight Hatton because, age wise and size wise, and the points thay are both at in their respective careers would be a wiser choice rather than fight a young guy who will probab;y finish up his career at lightmiddleweight.

If MAidana is ok with it, then why do you have a problem?

                  Marquez "avoided" Amir.

We are not talking about Marquez here, and i explained the situation there, did you read my post?

And Maidana got paid off, Khan didn't wanna fight him so GBP paid Maidana off, it's ducking pure and simple.

Honestly i am repeating the same things, when will you Khan fans realise, he has a padded career fighting old men half his sizse then he ducks his mandatory.

Tell me this.... Why was he so eager to fight Salita (a guy who has never fought inside the top 40 and has a poor KO ratio) but is NOT willing to fight Maidana??? They are both mandatories, nothing different there.....
