I have to give Roach props. He thinks he's slick and no one has mentioned it in this thread yet but why get Forbes to spar for Clottey? They fight nothing alike. He brings nothing to the table for a Clottey fight. This is all about them thinking that they will easily beat Clottey and sparring Forbes this soon gets them more prepared for a Floyd fight. He's sparred with Forbes alot for this fight and will probably be his chief guy next camp so by time he gets in the ring with Floyd it will be like 2nd nature. Its a pretty good move but Forbes aint no Mayweather

if this is true than pacquiaos camp is showin no respect for clottey there main focus should ONLY be clottey rite now then agter tha fite focus on floyd

I agree. Pac is ducking Floyd and Mosley. How can Roach say
that Pacquiao can retire after Clottey when he still hasn't faced
the former P4P#1 fighter? Or Shane Mosley, the top guy at 147.
I think the Shane/Floyd fight put Manny in a tough situation because
he knows if he sticks around he will have to fight one or the other.

well forbes fighting normally is sort of emulating floyd.

no two people are the same fighter. everyone is different.

take a guy with the same style and their speed might not be the same. take a guy with the same speed and they might not be the same size. and so on.

forbes is good sparring to prepare pacquiao for mayweather. just to get him use to the shoulder roll and how forbes fights off the ropes.

Forbes is there to give manny good work. Forbes has a good reputation as a guy who can give you good rounds in sparring.

Forbes has a few similarties to mayweather but by no means is he anywhere near mayweathers level, and if so, it wouldnt prepare him for clottey, so manny is preparing for a fight that isnt anywhere near close to being a reality, that makes very little sense to me, almost dumb even.

Unless you are in their camp, you dont know why forbes is there, OTHER THAN to give Pacquiao some work to get in better physicial shape for his fight with clottey. Forbes is known for that.

Thats all i said, i am honestly confused as to why you are choosing to make it anything more than that. Then again, i cant tell who all these alts are anymore.

forbes is one of my top choices to prepare manny for floyd's style.

floyd is more than likely gonna be manny's next possible opponent.

there's a ton of fighters out there that would be better for preparing pac against clottey.

Ali badmouthed, sometimes viciously, nearly every opponent he fought. Not badmouthing people factors more into how you will be remembered personality wise, not if you are a legend or not. Dont be so daft.

I see their trying to get some perspective on Floyd. They bought Castillo in now Forbes to try to get some idea about Floyd but neither will prepare Manny for Floyd. Floyd is on another level.
