I appreciate everyone on BS for their support. I will continue to work harder than anyone to get better and hope you all will continue to be with me on my journey to represent boxing at the highest level both inside and outside of the ring. I look forward to all of you taking this ride with me. I gained valuable experience against Jordan and look forward to using that experience in all of my future fights.

    God Bless

I was 152 for this one so we'll see how we keep coming down and maintaining strength.

Hey Shawn was your corner telling you to stay inside against Jordan?if they were it seemed to me they might of threw you a little and that, that was not the right thing for you to do as your best rounds off the fight were 9+10 when you used your legs attacked of the angles etc

Inside was the place to be on this guy but he kept tying up my left everytime I was in there. I needed to attack the body more early and to do that I needed to be inside.

              Yeah?

Shawn could you of stepped across when inside and mounted another attack from the angle so you were safe when Jordan came back with counter, or was that not possible due his holding?

Yeah you did a good job of going to the body well early if i recall.

I cant wait to see your next fight as im becoming a bit fan of yours.

                Wat up Mr. Porter,
Hey man, it's never easy fighting them tall @ss rangy dudes, and the fact that he was a southpaw makes it even harder.

I'm not trying to say I know more. But, you might wanna watch some old Joe Frazier and Julio Cesar Chavez fights on how to hunt down those tall fighters and chop 'em down properly.

I noticed something and Teddy Atlas mentioned the same thing, you had a habit of jumping back at times when you already had your range. And you ended back at square one having to work your way back in. I'm just as tall as you and trust me, I've had my fill of fighting tall cats, not at the level your fighting at of course. But, the strategy remains the same. Move yo head, feint and jab your way in, us short guys simply have to work harder, there's no shortcuts against them giraffes !!
