No the reason jmm lost to floyd is because two counterpunchers, one had to come forward and floyd sure the hell wasnt.

IMHO fight might have been closer if it was at 135, but floydie still would of won. so

Alright lets ask this, why would Floyd choose to be the first guy to face Marquez at 147 or 142 or whatever you want to call it? I ask this cause haters here seem to think Floyd has this masterplan that he's going to drag Marquez up in weight and that will make him vulnerable etc... How would Floyd know that? He's never seen Marquez fight at 140 and above before?

That extra could of made Marquez a beast. Thats usually what older fighters say, that moving up in weight has helped their career. B Hop moved up to light heavy and said it was time making 160 was killing him. So at 38, moving up in weight is probably healthier for Marquez than starving himself to make lower weights. Is that not what Roach has said about Pac, we aint going back to 140 Pac has filled out.

No one can sit here and lie and say Marquez has not filled out as well.

It was no different from any other fight where a lightweight moves up to challenge a welterweight. Is this any less fair than Mosley moving up for Oscar, Duran for Leonard, or Pac for Oscar and Cotto?

If you want to refer to catchweights then that right there is the bull****. In reality Floyd should of came in at 147 and Marquez should of came in at whatever weight he wanted at or below 147. Now that would of been fair.

Just like Floyd chose to come in at 150 vs Oscar, He didn't force Oscar to do the same, 154 limit and thats all to it. If Marquez was concerned about being FAT then weigh in at 140 then.

Dude what fight did you watch??? You do realize that Marquez's own trainer Beristein agree's that JMM took an awful beating against Floyd. So much so that he now accused GBP of using him vs Khan and not allowing him to recover from that match.

You just dont realize how much punishment he took in that fight cause Marquez has learned to hide the pain and keep going. But he has never been beaten up like that.

Whatever you say, what we do know is they fought twice and Marquez beat his azz around the ring. Pac gave as good as he took but there is no evidence whatsoever for you to declare that he would KO Marquez at any weight.
