Hopkins has the most delusional fans. He is not going 12 with Haye.

Haye wouldn't have to hit him clean, all he would have to do is pound away on the gloves for two rounds until hopkins was dizzy and the exploit an opening.

Hopkins has a good chin at 175, but that 50 lbs lower than what Haye brings on fight night at HW.

Forget the Valuev Fight, watch Haye at CW and see the power and speed he carries.

How would Floyds defense do vs. Arthur Abraham? Exactly. Floyd gets stopped.

Hell Ivan Calderon has good defense now tell him to move up and fight Pacquiao. Hell get stopped. Early.

Hopkins defense will not save him in this fight.
          skills can overcome size.

haye beat valuev with one hand, byrd made an entire career taking on much bigger men and boxing their ears of.

hopkins in his prime couldve overcome hayes size with skills and boxing IQ. these days he doesnt have the reflexes and the legs to stay away from haye, or the stamina to keep it up. but in his prime he couldve decisioned haye.

Imagine Williams-Wright if Williams had the power of Carl Froch...That's what this would be like. Haye would bust through his guard and destroy him.

I wouldn't mind watching a fight between these two at all, for real.

I believe old B-hop would get hurt pretty badly by the faster, bigger and younger Haye......we have these weight classes for good reason and it would never be more evident if they fought.

It's not like Haye is a prime Mike Tyson.

Hopkins has arguably the best defense in the game. He's crafty. he knows how to not get hit flush. I mean seriously, when does hopkins ever get hit hard? You'd have to go back 10 years or so.

Hopkins would smother haye and use lateral movement to stay away from haye's big punches. Remember, hopkins doesn't allow his opponents to set up their shots and he certainly doesn't allow them to load up on their shots either.

It's very, very hard to hit hopkins flush, let alone knock him out. Even at this old age.

****, James Toney would go the distance against Haye even at this stage. Why? For the same reasons, Toney has great defense.
You don't think haye would smother hopkins?
