okay--boxing in itself is a brutal sport---you guys crack me up---yeah, floyd sells the fight like he is going to go out and massacre his opponent, or punish them, and for the most part, he has---but he's a smart fighter--when will you get this--people still buy the ppv even if they already have their minds made up that he is boring to watch----floyd can beat you into submission, people forget that---floyd promised he would punsh gatti, he did just that---floyd punished judah, that zab had to resort to low blows--i never heard floyd say he would punish baldomir, but floyd was the challenger, and he dominated carlos like he was the challenger, which he was in a way---floyd outboxed oscar, and buckled oscar more than 2 times, and if floyd decied to open up, he could have stopped oscar---he fought smart though----he tko'ed hatton after landing right hand leads like it was clockwork--and he didn't stop jmm after 2 years off, and wanting to get the rounds in---so floyd tells us he will kill his opponents, he still dominates them---and he wears them down----and he has amazing stamina---floyd is a 15 round fighter easily---getting hit from him for 12 rounds is not good at all---because he's accurate, pinpoint and sharp with his shots---and his power is decpetive---it's like he fights these guys and he's bored in the ring, because he's just that complex a fighter--and the public builds these guys up like they're the one to beat him, and they end up getting dominated----oscar was dominated---he won 4 rounds maybe---i gave him 3, and the rounds he won, he barely outlanded floyd, but he threw more punches, and was more active--so that fight was more or less oscar trying to make a point, not floyd---oscar fought hard and was dominated---floyd cruised, looked bored, and when he opened up on oscar, he outlanded oscar 27 to 7, or 26 to 6, that's a brilliant fighter---landing more punches, yet throwing much less---floyd is a smart fighter---people will always claim bad things about him, but when it comes down to it at the end of the day, in that ring, floyd mayweather won't lose to anybody, not shane, not pac, not clottey, nobody---he's a complete fighter---wake up and face it---Comment

I understand that this is your opinion but this is a dumbass statement. The reason I say this because it doesn't matter if his fights sell because of a persona the only thing that matters is the fight selling. That **** you just said was pure hate. Yes Pac is good for boxing and so is PBF. Nobody wants to see the samething all the time. I am fine with you not liking or even hating the persona that PBF has created but you can't knock it because look at what it has gotten him. It has gotten him to a place even Arum thought he could never reach so you can't say he was wrong for doing it.Comment

The greatest trick that a cheating Pacquiao ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. ...Comment

You can try to turn the tide of public opinion all you want, but the fact of the matter is that Floyd is a safety first fighter.
One of my favorite fighters of all time is Sweet Pea, to me, he was the one of the best fighters to exhibit the sweet science in terms of hit and not being hit...
The diff with fmj compared to Whitaker is that Whitaker would entertain the audience/viewers and would take on everyone. FMj doesnt. He just seems content on getting a decision win most of the time even against opponents who dont crack or have no biz in there with him....thats the problem with him, along with his brash **** talking and unwillingness to fight the best. Its about damn time he fights the best in the WW division, although most of the top guys who he should have fought are no longer the same as before his hiding(retirement).....the cat is getting a lil respect by fighting mosely, but if he doesnt do what he says he's gonna do(come back and clean out the ww division), he's going to garner even more haters, both average joe bxing fans, boxers, boxing analysts and scribes....in the end, its up to him, but if i could put my money on it, i doubt he follows through on his words...Comment

I think Team Pacquaio are more afraid of taking the blood test Randomly than they are afraid to fight Floyd Mayweather.Comment

Im not much of a fan of either Mayweather, Mosley or Pacquiao. Their all great, talented & exciting fighters 2 watch but I can't say im a big fan of 1. Anyway all this Mayweather crap coming from the Pacquiao camp is a joke. Every other day Floyds name is coming out the mouth of 1 of Pacquiaos people. Im tired of it already. They didn't make the fight so stop talking about him. Worry about Clottey.Comment
