peterson isnt a huge JWW, but he's got very good length. he'll have at least a 5" reach advantage.
demarco was taller than peterson, but peterson has a much better jab and much quicker hands.

        ¿What about Anthony Peterson?

¿What's going on with Anthony Peterson?(Lamont's brother)He's the #1 contender for Valero's 135lbs WBC belt & he hasn't been mentioned at all during this whole mess of Valero moving up & Sulaiman looking to put 2 other guys to fight for Valero's belt(at 135).....If Valero is moving up or what ever the case is & if anybody is fighting for Valero's belt or a worthless carbon copy(interim belt) they should include Anthony Peterson & not bump him off like Sulaiman is trying to do..

Peterson (27-1, 13 KOs) has only one loss on his record, which came by decision to WBO champion Timothy Bradley. Top Rank's Bob Arum, who promotes both fighters, is looking at putting the fight together in the summer. [Click Here To Read More]

This is a good fight For Valero.

What they seem to be doing ith Valero is putting him wit different styles, so when teh time comes he is ready for anything and everything in the ring.

If Lamont fights anything like he did againts Bradley he gets falttend. If he uses his angles, jab and movement he can extend the fight and even make it a close descicion!!!

this is a good fight for valero, although pretty risky. But imo it's much better to at least test the waters @ 140 rather than going straight to the top.

This might be true, but I really want to see Pacquiao vs. Valero one day!!!!! They have taken two different roads in their careers, hopefully Valero can build up his notoriety. Sure a win against Bradley would be a better win than against Peterson, but even Pacquiao tip toe'd a belt in the lightweight division.

UH...I actually think this is a pick'ems fight. Peterson can fight inside and box.

                      Valero's 5'7", fairly good for a LWW.
