Alexey is not the same fighter anymore, he is not hungry at amateurs anymore. he has taken all possible trophies from european champion to olympic champion. just look at his fights in olympiad at beijing, and you will understand what i mean. he hasn't perfomed since beijing, and what if he meets gamboa today in pro, i think gamboa will win definately, maybe by knockout.

it's wierd...before the soviet union collapsed they weren't dominating as they are now.

i'm pretty sure if communism in cuba breaks alot of good talents can make it to the pro's.
Yeah no doubt Cuba, like always, is loaded with talent.

Yeah physically he's very gifted but from a fundementals standpoint you can't even really compare them, Gamboa doesn't really have any.

Unfortuniatly i don't think he is turning pro though

lol aw look at the butt hurt Cuban. Don't worry, you can keep pretending like Gamboa is untouchable......until Ukraine's Vasyl Lomachenko turns pro in 2012.

Yeah, Vasyl got some serious skills. Can't wait util he turns pro.
