I agree that Shane is a great champion and a class act. I was at the Cotto-Mosley fight in 2007 and gained much respect for his skills and heart that night. This is the first time in a while that Mayweather has included a rematch clause in case he loses the fight. That tells me (no matter how much trash talking he may do) that he is genuinely worried about losing this fight. The reason it's better for boxing if Mosley wins? Mayweather-Pacquiao aint happening anytime soon yet Mosley-Pac could happen this fall. Shane is a very live 3-1 underdog.

I see where your coming from i like mosley but dude hasn't fought in a year. And come on margs didn't destroy cotto cotto was putting on a clinic for the first 6 rounds then mysteriously margs punches started to destroy cottos face. One my list is the way it is because I think mayweather will beat mosley for one and two if pacquiao beats clottey, now pacquiao would have just beaten the wbo champ and if it wasn't for the strip of clotteys ibf tittle he would have two belts right now in the ww division the wbo and the ibf. I like mosley I Like basically everybody in boxing besides margarito now i don't hate not trying to it's just my list. We all have opinions and I have the right to put mine out there. I dont know if shane is your fav. fighter but goodluck man on may 1. Cotto is my fav. and I know when he fights i'm all pumped up. yea shane is my fav but i have mad love for cotto he fight's anybody and has been the ring with just about everybody to me he has already earn a place in the hof all i'm sayin is that mosley should be the num 1 ww cause he beat a num one ww and beat his ass left no question's pac beat cotto who was rank num 3 at the time and when cotto beat mosley imo it had alot of question i had it a draw an i'm not the only one so imo to be at the top of a div you have to beat the top guy pac did not do that mosley did and that was all i was say

This dude right here is on point. If Shane would not have gave Winky an opportunity no one would no who Winky was. Winky even to this day always says how thankful he is that Shane gave him a chance and thats pretty damn sad. How can some of these fighters call themselves warriors and gladiators and they are afraid to lose. Mosley went to ESPN to prove his worth after losing to Vernon and Wink 2 hall of famers, what a joke.

I'm a big fan of Shane Mosley, and this article is exhibit A why. He has every chance of winning this fight and there is no way Mayweather dominates him. Nothing Mayweather has ever done in his career suggests he will be able to dominate Shane Mosley, even at 38.
