it's funny how floyd is the most accurate fighter in boxing---he lands 50% of his punches damn near everytime he fights---and manny gets hit a lot---floyd's % offensively kills manny's----floyd is very accurate but his d is so pronounced that people forget about his offense--they say all he does is potshots, but he is a complex fighter so he chooses his punches economically---he's a sharp shooter---i feel floyd throws sharper punches than manny does---manny looks sloopy a lot when he throws his punches---his balance is fishy---floyd feints better, throws hsi hooks better, they dont look sloppy---their pinpoint and accurate---his right hand lead is thrown better---i mean his jab to the body isn't sloppy like say a shane mosley's jab to the body---floyd throws beautiful punches--he throws them correctly, and his balance has a lot to do with this, his body positioning does also---floyd feints beautifully when he throws his jab--which is why he lands it at will when he throws it---his offensive is much better than manny's defense---and manny's offense is no where near floyd's defense---compubox stats prove this---

i think both are a little better then what they get credit for. pacquaio has some good movement with his incredible speed. mayweather does have good timing and pretty good offense but he just doesnt throw combinations and throws a low number of punches in his fights

not really----you can't say that--because there are many fighters who throw a lot of punches and thye miss a lot--especially against him---you actually have a better chance at landing when you throw more---but floyd is a marksman---he's a sharp shooter, he plans his attack according to his opponent's movement, which is why he defense and offense go hand and hand---many of floyd's opponents have throw double his output and landed less than he did against them, and he throws less punches than them, sometimes as far as half as less---his defense is superb--but floyd's accurate, not because of his limited punch output, but because of his timing with his punches and his ability to go from defense to offense--which is why when he throws a counter right hand over a jab or something like that, he shows how good his offense really is---because of his ability to come from defense to offense and change the perplextion of his opponent's output---this is why his offense is so good---his offense is actually better than his defense in this regard---because he can land at will most of the time---and it makes his opponent change their gameplan and go all out on him----that's a smart offensive mind, this is why he doesn't throw many punches, because his offense is his defense when it comes to dictating a fighter's movement and positioning---you guys have to realize that floyd is an intelligent fighter--he has a brilliant mind in the ring---he can open up when he wants, just because he potshots a lot now-a-days doesn't mean he doesn't have that gatti arsenal---i mean, you seen what he did to gatti---he threw combos in the zab judah fight--he potshotted baldomir because carlos was an easy target, even as the bigger man, and floyd totally outboxed him, and people have to realize, floyd is a methodical fighter---he knows how to use his opponent's strength against him---when he fought oscar, he opened up in round 5 and dictated oscar's punch output---which is why the rounds floyd won on compubox stats, he dominated--like round 5 and 11---and the rounds oscar won, he barely outlanded floyd, or he landed less than floyd but looked more active---floyd is a thinking fighter---i can't stress this enough---floyd's offense is better than manny's defense---that's why jmm landed on pac a lot, but landed 12% on floyd at best----floyd is an all around fighter---manny isn't---
