mayweathers offence is majorly underrated, his offence compliments his defence, his jabs to the body make the opponants stop wanting to walk in, his lead right hands are thrown to control the pace of the fight, hes actually very good when it comes to his offence, just because he doesnt throw a million punches a fight doesnt mean he dont have a great offence, the more punches you throw the more exposed you are therefore mayweathers offence is very clever.
