at best you can do selective random testing and only during training camp.

say a fight is gonna happen in a certain state they can do some random testing during camp or something.

I think it does. The more reputable the sport, the more they're gonna look to protect their image. And of course testing costs money so you gotta be able to fund it.

I see what you're saying about boxing's fractured authority but I think if one body in a position of power and influence committed to and enforced more stringent testing, it would spread like wildfire as the people at the top clambered to stay in business and protect their credentials.

the boxing orgs will not implement it.

        it costs money.

the state athletic commissions might but it'll take a while before everyone does it.

though probably nysac , csac , tsac and nsac is all that's really needed.

The cost is clearly why it has not been implemented up until this point but if enough of a fuss is kicked up it becomes more of an investment than money down the toilet for those guys in charge.

at best they'll do it for title fights.

            boxing is too disorganized.

Good point, just to give a long shot example, say the IBO, who boasts their integrity and fairness, can invest in such testing to provide safety in its fighters.

The organization will be the shining light in a dark sport while leading the way in equality.

But as mentioned, boxing is too messy and too greedy, and the people making money off it wants no part of change.
