Comments Thread For: Abraham vs Dirrell: Andre Plans To Target Arthur's Body

As the second stage of the Super Six tournament approaches, Andre Dirrell is putting together the perfect game plan to hand Arthur Abraham his first career defeat on March 6 at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. In his last bout, against Carl Froch, Dirrell felt he outboxed the WBC champion. He lost a split decision but now knows that his boxing ability is good enough to fight with anyone in the world. Not a bad idea at all, with the high guard Abraham's body is certainly open, and if it gets Abraham thinking about those body shots the head shots usually not there will open up.

Andre is planning to target the opposite corner of the ring to wherever Abraham is more like.

abrahams body has to be the target i agree

this fight is going to an interesting one

such a clash of styles its hard to pick

abraham is going to have to mix it up i feel,he wont win a decision walking after dirrell throwing punches and not hitting him like froch did all night,he needs to establish himself early

Abraham on points with Dirrell booed out of the ring for running after getting stung a couple of times.

              Haha. These made me laugh!

I actually think Dirrell will win a decision.

dirrell might say thats the gameplan but everyone knows he wont risk going to the body. he might run his way to a decision but i hope and expect to see him get ran out of the ring. and by ran i mean stretchered.

If I was Dirrell, going to the body would be scary. He would allow himself to be at a good reach of Abraham and expose his head too much.He would be better served to "stick and move"...
