I hate that Funeka needs to fight a rematch for a title he clearly already won. I really don't have any interest in seeing them fight again due to the first fight not being real competive. I have a feeling Cayo UD Maidana.

When Guzman fought Funeka he had a long lay-off and fought a good opponent. People always saying Guzman is trash and this and that but he is one of the most gifted boxers ive ever seen. He has great movement and ring generalship i think if he doesnt get smashed up by a headbutt this time he will clearly win by UD. He was winning until that nasty gash opened and then proceeded to get his nose smashed cause he couldnt see and still he fought til the end and although i do admit he lost that fight I know hell come prepared this time and itll be a good fight. When you looked at the compubox stats it wasnt as big of a blowout as everyone makes it out to be. Funeka is so much taller and has longer arms to keep popping the jab and make him look really busy but alot of the shots that matter were missing and that is possibly why he got screwed.
Dont get me wrong Funeka is good and did win the first time, but if Joan trains hard and comes prepared this time especially after already knowing his style he will definitely outbox and cruise to a UD.Comment

It's crazy because they all agree Guzman won the first 2 rounds before he had a nose bleed and was cut, but then think it wasn't a factor. What's funny is that Guzman out landed Funeka in power punches for all of the first 8 rounds. I expect Guzman to use his legs more this time around, which will win him the fight.
Yeah, I remember hearing about the 300+ amateur fights from Cayo, which is why I have confidence in him. Maidana is an aggressive beast that will be coming non stop unless Cayo can hurt him and even then, he'll still be coming. He should be able to outbox Maidana, the question is gonna be if he'll be able to adjust to fighting 12 rounds.
What? I hope you know Maidana fought his whole career in his homeland and had a blown up record too. And Cayo easily beat Julio Diaz a couple fights ago in the US anyway.Comment
