Yea he has a chance lol, everyone making out Floyd is made of iron and invincible. You just know Floyd will be on his bike once he feels Shanes power, and he will feel it thats for sure.

mosley can't outthink floyd, can't outbox floyd, can't out jab floyd--can't out move floyd---shane does dangle his jab out there to throw his opponents off coz he thinks they'll fall for it and he can land his right hand with massive power, but that only works against stationary fighters---floyd is a complete fighter and he has shanes style mastered down to a tee---and he'll even list shane's flaws and how he will expose them---the thing with shane is that even though he is a strong puncher, he's a robotic fighter--he looks like he could be elusive and gives that impression, but he fights too stiff---he fights on his toes some, but he mainly stands flatfooted when he throws his power punches and that's the key--shane has to stay on his toes, coz floyd loves to leap off of his toes when he strikes and his comes fast---floyd angles his body very elusively---

floyd's upperbody movement and how he positions his body when he counters is the key for him because shane is not used to fighting counterpunchers and when he gets caught off guard, he goes into his fight mode and falls into his bad habits like closing his eyes to give himself more ummmph in his punches, and it's a habit floyd has picked up on years ago---shane throws his jab to the body, but he does it too stiff and leans forward when he does it, which is not smart because he's so tense that floyd will counter over it, and shane won't have time to move out of the way because of his positioning----

shane can outpower floyd, no doubt, but he has to do it conservatively, because he has tired out from going too hard with his punches, and floyd stays poised in the ring and calm and he calculates his opponent's movement very well---floyd will use shane's movement and timing against him----this is why floyd is a complete fighter mentally because he sees everything, he has 6th sense it seems like---and floyd is a 2 handed fighter---ampedextrous---he can turn southpaw and land punches as if it's his natural fighting stance----watch how floyd uses shane's movements to time shane---floyd uses his opponent's strengths to tire them out, which is why he lets them wail away on him, and he just slowly dips and rolls with the punches and blocks them and throws his potshots in between their punches--to the body and the head---

another key component to floyd beating shane is that floyd counterpunches off of his blocks, and shane can get caught with sneaky right hand counters, and when floyd uses his lead shoulder to hide his right hand, it's very hard for his opponent to avoid getting caught with it---and shane's defense is not that super--it's decent at best---shane is a warrior, no doubt, but he has problems with technicians, and even with him fighting different styles like forrest, mosley, de la hoya, and vargas, and cotto, none of those fighters put everything together well like floyd does---none of them---forrest comes close, but not even he has the movement floyd has, or the defense floyd has---forrest killed shane, and i expect floyd to do the same---

shane has to pressure floyd, but he has to do it while trying to outbox him---i don't see it happening---****m is a great trainer, but he has never trained a fighter for a style like floyd's---he has his work cut out for him----floyd knows his strengths and he knows shane's strengths, but even with shane's strength, he uses them with bad habits---watch how floyd breaks shane down---floyd is brilliant in that ring---it's a cakewalk---floyd will train hard for this fight to make it looks easy in the ring---

Shane has a very good chance of beating Mayweather. He is stronger, just as fast, more experienced, tons of heart, and an iron chin.

He does but he's not smart enough to beat floyd, shane is not good against boxers..but there's always a chance of a lucky punch landing on the spot.

That article is good and all
            but here is my thing

YEs Floyd is a better boxer than winky wright and forrest. and miguel cotto
            thats obvious
but those guys are stronger than floyd... the reason why shane couldn't beat them was because he was kept at bay by those guys's power... yes floyd has underrated but is it enough to really keep shane mosley away?
i honestly dont know... i doubt it ...

also vernon and winky had a significant size advantage on mosley.. which im sure helped them a whole lot

i'm still picking floyd to win though

Shane has more of a chance than any of Floyd's previous 40......don't think for one minute that this will be a walk in the park for Floyd......the man will take punishment like he's never took before.....Floyd is by far the superior BOXER on paper......but the fight doesn't get fought on paper and thats why I won't argue or attempt to disagree with dudes who THINK Floyd will have a EASY time with Shane......May 2 I'm changin' my name to "eye-told-u-so"........Shane will beat Floyd in a way that will SHOCK a few!!

Mosley is a much better offensive fighter, he can use his strength to bully Mayweather, and he can put on the pressure necessary to discomfort Mayweather.

Honestly, what has Mayweather done lately to convince people he can put on a Baldomir like performance against Mosley? Mosley has a very good chance to win.

This site is hilarious. Months ago people were talking about how Mayweather was avoiding Mosley and this and that.....when he finally DOES sign the contract...they're already discrediting Mayweather's opponent and the fight is months away.

There was little badmouthing of Mosley as an opponent for Mayweather, and now with the fight materialized, he's suddenly another opponent that isn't good enough.

It was sort of like the Calzaghe/Dawson ordeal...people were talking about how Calzaghe was ducking Dawson and all that after he retired. A few months later (I think when Dawson beat Tarver the second time), people started migrating towards the side of: "Well...I don't think Dawson isn't good enough to beat Calzaghe."

                  Make up your mind, dammit!
