Hopkins didn't want Roy then. He thinks he can beat him now that Roy has lost speed, reflexes, footwork. We will see. I lost respect for Hopkins when he took this fight after what happened in Australia. He tries to enchance his legacy by beating a diminished version of Roy. He can never erase from history what happened in 93. Certainly not by fighting Roy now. For what he tries to do he deserves to lose again.

Also Jones belt was on the line, he was more popular than Hopkins and he had already beaten him, so why should Jones have given him a 50/50 split? Hopkins was making around 250k fighting his mandatories he would of made around 3M fighting Jones again. He walked away from the fight and fought Hakkar instead.
