Disagree. The Kessler with a broken hand that fought Joe would not have a chance against Ward. Styles make fights. Ward beats Kessler 9 out of 10 unless there's a ref willing to enforce the rules of boxing.

Give him respect are you kidding, he got mine when he came to America and got off his ass to KO Taylor. He's faced all the brothers and continues to shine. The dirrell fight was schloppy but against Taylor and Pascal the man was aight!!

kesslers looked bad in every fight since losing to calzaghe, he just doesn't have it anymore. watch the perdomo fight and you'll see what I mean.

Sorry carl.. will be in Copenhagen on the 17th ! as was planned bit of a f... up really but will have a enjoyable weekend and catch the fight on the box the next week.
Did fancy Kessler now not so sure, would make Carl a slight favourite although this won't be with the Ward mind .fancy Carl to stop Kessler after maybe having visited the canvass himself around the sixth...good luck Carl I hope and am sure it will live up to the hype.

Kessler looked shot ? Are you ****ing kidding ? He looked pretty sharp to me. He just lost to a better fighter. If you watch the fight closely, you'll see Kessler landing great left hooks when Ward is coming inside. Ward was flashier, but Kessler did hit Ward with some good shots. Kessler's reflexes were there, his defense, his stamina, everything was there. But it's no surprise you say he's shot : boxing fans with poor boxing IQ (sorry, but it's the case) all say a fighter is shot as soon as he loses a fight he was not ''supposed'' to lose. He was competitive against Calzaghe too.

I have seen the Perdomo fight. Perdomo landed a couple of good punches, but he was never in the fight for real. As soon as Kessler connected, he ko'ed him, so you just don't have a good example.

Nevertheless it's several years since Kessler looked great (I'm not counting the Haussler fight). He needs a solid performance against Froch.

6 months ago I'd say this was the easiest fight in the tourney to predict as Froch has a style that's tailormade for Kessler. Now it's who knows how much the Ward beating has taken out of Mikkel mentally and who knows if those eyebrows will pop open by the first meeting with leather.
