Just Curious, Why Werent Floyd Fans This Vocal About May/Marquez Being A Mismatch?

I'm seeing a lot of threads from Floyd fans claiming to be "disgusted" by what they perceive as being a mismatch between Pacquiao and Clottey. Obviously, these fans just want the best match ups possible for the sport of boxing. But, just out curiosity, where was the backlash from the Floyd fans for Marquez/Mayweather, which obviously, was an incredible mismatch?

So Mayweather had no choice but to fight him? Is that what you're saying? Should we go down the list of all the fighters that have called Mayweather out? And then discuss the ones he actually agreed to fight?

But seriously, get over it...Make some meaningful topics. And not every Mayweather fan is a "*****". I for one agree that Pac-Clottey is a mismatch, but you don't see me complaining. I just say Clottey's gonna get beat like the tailor made opponent he is. But what other choice did Pac have? The WW division is dead, and Mosley was locked in with Berto. If it makes you feel better, Mayweather-Marquez was a mismatch too...But it was a tune-up off of a two year layoff. Cotto-Jennings was a mismatch too, and that was a tune-up off of an ass whooping from Margo. All three of the mentioned fights in this post are mismatches, but they're legit. So get over it.

Those who continuously make pointless topics or flood topics on Pac/Floyd with ******ed posts are the true "*******s" and "*****s".

In boxing, anything is possible. I give clottey a 30% chance of winning. But I'm merely pointing out the incredible hypocrisy of some Floyd fans.

yea, i shouldn't say clottey has "no chance."

i give him a <10% chance tho.


personally, manny could've chosen lesser opponents than clottey, and floyd could've chosen a lesser opponent than shane. both guys have chosen good fighters, and i can't knock either guy.

i feel shane has a slightly better chance at beating floyd, than clottey has at beating manny, but i give both a less than 15% chance. i think most ppl are just disgusted moreso in the fact floyd and manny aren't fighting each other, and you get mayweather fans discreditng pac, b/c the *******s act like clottey will be a better fight, and is a great substitution for passing up on the floyd fight.....let's all be honest and call it like it is tho.....

clottey's a good fighter, with a really good chin, but he has no more of a chance to beat pac, than marquez had at beating floyd. ppl discredit floyd, b/c marquez was smaller, but they give manny props b/c clottey is naturally bigger, while forgetting the disparity in talent. it goes both ways, and as roach said, size won't win fights.

Am a floyd fan and i never and would never **** on Pac/Clottey fight, I have even brought ticket for the fight and am flying out to Phoenix on the 6th of march.

Margarito and Cotto called out Floyd, Floyd accepted MONEY TERMS WHERE NOT AGREED,
Arum offered 8million for Floyd to fight Margarito,
Floyd said he would fight him for 8million if he was guaranteed another 8million to fight Cotto after, Bob Arum declined.

Do your homework, and stop listening to the haters on here and try base your opinions on facts instead of hatred
