How is that crazy talk? What do you mean if Vernon would of fought the same list of opponents as Floyd? Floyd started at super featherweight and won championships in 5 divisions, Vernon started at WW and went up to JMW, lost to Mayorga and even a contender champion. You can't compare the 2, Floyd has done much more and is overall much better of a fight than Vernon ever was.

forrest got caught against mayorga plain and simple. i thought he won rematch but he wasnt same fighter and lost his jab due to injury. he was older and not in great shape when he lost to mora and beat him very easy in rematch which he should have in first fight.
i agree not everyone comes in great shape like floyd or bhop do in every fight. but its life and its boxing **** happens. not everyone is 100% everyfight. people get old people arent the same. but prime forrest would beat floyd or would have been the hardest fight in his life

This fight is gettingmore buzz than the Pacquiao v Clottey fight. Everyone is talking about this fight. I think this is a blockbuster fight. Mosley believes he will win and he is going to bring the fight to Mayweather. Mayweather is going to use his speed and boxing to pick Mosley apart. This could easily be the best fight of 2010.

I agree floyd is one of the most talented guys of the decade put in the fact that mosley is not shot (which I don't care he is not )this could be good the skill level goes to money but the hunger for combat goes to mosley should be one hell of a fight I hope we see some good undercards not like top ranks stink fest

Do you believe that boxing is boring? I really don't understand why people feels a fighter has to sit there and exchange with an opponent if he doesn't have too. I can tell most of you people have no idea what ESPN Classic is, what do you think of Ali when he fought?

ali and mayweather are so different yea they both belived to hit and not get hit but ali would always try to knock his man out unless you was talk **** before rhe fight then he would just beat ya ass for 15 rounds but overall ali is and always will be more exciting both are boxing masters class floyd is not as offensive mind as ali tho imo

Let's not go overboard. While Forrest fought the fight of his life against Shane that first time (rematch was a close fight), he was a solid champion at best. His performances against the likes of the ancient Vince Phillips were nothing to write home about. Vernon Forrest was avoided by Oscar, yes, but other than that he was never anyone significant enough or even considered GOOD enough to be a threat to other names. If anything, Forrest would have hell with Floyd's patient style and while he had a great jab, might've been a tad too slow to stop the counters or the leads thrown in his direction. I see Floyd winning a tough, close but clear decision over him simply by using his legs.
