Comments Thread For: Kubrat Pulev Stays Busy; Pianeta on Huck-Richards, More

Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev, 5-0, already has some good wins on his record such as the knockout over veteran Matt Skelton last time out. However, in order to get rated by the EBU you need a minimum of eight fights. Pulev will thus fight in Liege, Belgium, next weekend, in Berlin March 13 and again in April.

Kubrat Pulev will fight three times in six weeks, and four times in 11 weeks!

This will be another EXCELLENT Sauerland card: Povetkin-Guinn, Pianeta, Pulev, Frenkel-Simms, HucK-Richards.

        Dominick Guinn:

Guinn is a fairly dangerous opponent because he's a hard puncher, who's scored a lot of 1st and 2nd round KOs.

nice card for sure...actually one of the better cards I've seen in awhile.saurland does a very good job putting them together...wish it was Flores instead of the swamp donkey but nice selection of heavyweight fights.

            thanks

well, I see he wasnt able to stop a Eddie at 222, so Im pretty shure he aint stopping Pov , but everything can happen

I hope Pov will get a title-shot at Wlad right after Fast Eddie.(only if wlad wins)

Russian magazine "Sport-express" says it`s unlikely that Povetkin will fight Guinn. His manager, Hrunov, says that they are working on some other options... as the fight with Guinn is "not interesting for them"...

The website boxing talk.com reported yesterday Guinn will be the opponent.

We'll have to just wait and see.
