No. Why don't you guys answer my question. Pac only had two options at the time Cotto or Mosley. Who would you choose if you were Pacquiao? The winner or the loser of the head to head match between the two?

Considering the fact that Cotto was coming off a not so good performance against Clottey and many had him losing (Like myself), I'd of taken on Mosley. Mosley destroyed Margarito (The man at WW) and on top of that...gave a really good account of himself against Cotto. I'd of easily picked Mosley.

Cotto was ruined after Margarito, looked mediocre against Jennings a **** fighter and looked worse against Clottey. Mosley beat Margarito and Pacquiao could've fought him but his master Roach said he didn't want him to fight Mosley at the time.

BTW I know your a Floyd fan so just to let you know I have given up on any hope of Pac vs May. I could go into detail but that is another animal in itself.

If Mosley beats Floyd then he should fight him. If you cant see the difference in 2 years and one fight you need help.

Well at this level (Forums) it doesnt matter.


But the Board for RING have discussed this before Marg-Mosley. And their decision was. The belt wont be on the line because the winner wont clearly and unquestionably be number 1 at Welter because of Mosley's Loss to Cotto and Cotto's superior welter list againts Mosley.


I do agree however than Mosley has the better claim because of the Marg KO. but it is clearly debatable.

To give you guys another example....I like Judah back in the day also. Judah vs May had been in talks for a while but Judah lost to Baldomir. So when Floyd faced the winner I never once knocked him. I always say if it comes down to two opponent and both had faced each other before, you always go for the winner of the head to head battle. There are countless examples of this in boxing.

Its not discrediting it. It was 2 years ago. Thats a fact. Since then Cotto went on to be destroyed and then Mosley dominated the guy that made Cotto quit.
