we can say the same for Pacquiao, the ring has only been recognised in the last few years....Freddie Roach even said it himself......i thought we were talking about accomplishments, not losses.....De La Hoya is a 6 weight division champion, Pacquiao has lost 3 times, drawn twice and been knocked out twice

What im driving at is. He didnt win the WBO title in reality. It was a showcase before the Hopkins fight and as long as he didnt get knocked out. DLH will get the decision in that fight. He LOST the STURM fight. He should not get credit from that bout.

Joe Louis was 35 or 36 againts Charles and so is Wallcot

Got beaten by Marciano so are you getting credit for that?

Archie Moore was even older at 37

His biggest win was Joey Maxim.


Many fighters have dominated a division but in comparison Pac's run from 112 to 147 weighs more that charles' accomplishment IMO.


The Mexican trio of Barrera, Morales and Marquez were all in their 20's (29) when pac 1st fought them. Sasakul and ledwabba were solid champions of their division too.
