Haven't seen Guinn in a long time but last I seen he was boxing like he didn't give a crap about his career any more. He was a decent fighter at one time though.

Dominic Guinn is a very good stay-active opponent, much better than Leo Nolan.

This is an interesting fight. Guinn always has a punchers' chance.

Guinn never struck me as a big puncher and Povetkin has a very sturdy chin, good stay busy opponent though until he gets Klitschko.

          Easy win for Povetkin.

Povetkin does have a sturdy chin, but he may need one in this fight.

It's an interesting matchup, because although Guinn is inconsistent, he's a good fighter when he's at his best. Guinn's had some brutal early KOs, such over Zuri Lawrence and Johnnie White. Former Olympian Francois Bergeron had never been stopped in his ten-year pro career before his fight with Dominick.

However, Povetkin's on a higher level than those guys, so he definitely should win.

At one time some American boxing writers were heralding Guinn as potentially the next great heavyweight, but a couple of mediocre performances by Dominick quickly cooled the hype.

guinn is a great tuneup for a title shot.guinns been on a mission since goossen cut him loose & his trainer ron shields told him to retire.his destruction of bergeron was impressive because he had gone 12 with valuev prior to that & the white knockout was impressive even though white had a built up record.good chin, good power but he must let his hands go.atlas is very familiar with guinn.grants last fight with teddy was vs guinn & teddy also commentated a few of his fights.this fight goes the distance but povetkin cannot take him lightly.

lol that's not saying much, they're now heralding a 27 yr old former football player with no pro fights.

Nah Guinn is a good fighter, like i said it's good fight to have before Klitschko, can't imagine his power being a factor though.

I'm not sure if Povetkin's still facing Dom Guinn. I checked on ESPN's schedule and boxrec and it says TBA when before, both sites were reporting he'd face Guinn. Has anyone heard anything?...
