I dont think Eastman, with his thin frame could sustain the ****ing Jeff dished out. Call me crazy, but he is ruthless.

He and Ouma are the future of the sport.

Toss up between Jeff and Kassim IMO. I could just guess at that matchup.

So Lacy would beat Hop but he'd be a toss up with Ouma? Lacy is way too green for Hopkins right now and he'd be outpointed and broken down at this point. Lacy would crush Ouma at this point IMO. He's just too big and nothing that Ouma would bother Lacy.

You cant dismiss the fact......Hopkins has never faced an opponent as tenacious, nor as ruthless as Lacy. Lets not forget....Lacy is a youngster. Bernard is 40. The last very hard punchers Nard faced were:

      Eastman and Tito.

1.) were they as mean and tenacious?
2.) do they actually hit as hard? Winky says Lacy is the hardest puncher he has ever sparred with
3.) Are they in their primes?

I dont agree. I could make the case for Lacy Knocking Nard out. And Im dead serious. To take the safe route....I would pick a unanimous decision.

Lacy also walks around at over 200 or even.

also.....Ouma sustained punches from jantuah and did not even blink.

Jantuah as you know......knocked Santos out easily who sustained puches from Margarito....who punches really hard as well.

        a damn toss up.

Well this is true, and Lacy is youthful, but I just don't think that he's going to KO an all-time great middleweight or outpoint him. Hopkins has been in with Echols, who was as hard a puncher as you were going to find at middleweight, and used ruthless roughhouse tactics up the wazoo. You're talking about being ruthless and tenacious and overlooking that Hopkins fits the bill for this description perfectly.

Lacy's young and would get really discouraged after hitting nothing but gloves and air all night. Hopkins jab and sneak right would be there all night as well as those short left hooks inside.

Jantuah is definitely a hard puncher, but thats about it. He knocked out a green Santos and Rubio, which are pretty impressive, but gets smashed by better boxers like Ouma. If you think Lacy is going to KO a Hopkins calibur fighter, but then in turn have a toss up with a natural 154 fighter then im stumped.

Good points for the most part. Santos may have been green on the Ouma issue. Yet lets not forget: Hopkins is the champ. But how could we assess who is really the man....untill they fight. I mean, I am the first one to support Nard.....and I know he is ruthless as well. By watching them fight, I think he is too skinny to deal with the type of ****ing Jeff brings. I mean seriously....at one point in time, I figured Mayorga was unbeatable. Untill I saw him fight Spinks.

            True.

But has Lacy stopped a tank like Vanderpool. Nard could not stop him......and Lacy did.

I hate these comparisons, but I have to use them.

            Double standards: work both ways.
