What else could GBP do for Winky? They gave his ass the Williams fight and he got slaughtered. Theyre really is no one else around those weights that he wants to fight except Sergio & Pavlik but Sergio wont fight him because the money isnt there. He's basically turning his back just because Top Rank has guys like Pavlik, Cotto, & Margarito while Winky is thinking of moving back down to 154.

i wouldn't pay too much mind to the hopkins defeat pavlik was seriously off that night and fighting a bigger man

Martinez is going to give Pavlik all sorts of problems. From movement, speed, angles, and decent power.

They didn't give him the PWill fight, if I remember correctly he was the only fighter on the Golden boy roster and damn near anywhere else willing to get in the ring wit PWill at the time.

I got Pavlik over Martinez by stoppage. This will be Martinez first time fighting a TRUE 160 Pounder a guy who even been as high as 170 and is talking about going to 168 to fight Bute. So Pav is a BIG dude. With heavy hands.

Martinez gassed pretty bad against paul from hsi workrate. Pavlik doesnt stop throwing punches either and has a good chin. I dont see Sergio hurting Pavlik. Martinez also circles to the right hand whch spells KO if you do that to Pavlik. I think Martinez got a lot of hype for being life and death with a gut who would struggle vs. any lefty. I think Pavlik stops him about round 6.

at the rate Paul was throwing punches that night,that was the best a 37 year old Winky Wright coming off of a career long layoff could do. I hope you dont seriously think that either of those guys would overwelm an active Winky like that. Styles make fights, Remember that. I know you've heard it before. LOL!

The fact that you even compared Kelly's workrate to Pauls is amazing to say the least. If not for Pauls workrate, heart and chin, Sergio might have KO'ed him.

Kelly does not have the workrate you think he does. I will also tell you this, if he has not advanced from being a jab,jab,jab, right, type of fighter. I see Martinez having an even easier night than I think he will already have.

Plus you act like Kelly just ran trough MW. He beat JT....That's it. That is pretty much the only elite name on his resume at MW.
