So if their opinions were respected, and were good enough for the likes of Ali, and SRR. my opinion alone counts for basicly nothing. but when u take my opinion along with other hardcore boxing fans u get the voice of the ppl which counts for more than the voice of the so called experts.

only ppl who are new to the sport and dont have enough knowledge to defend their opinion with facts use experts to back up their claims. "pac is the best cuz this guy said so" isnt a very impressive argument.

Pac beat Cotto, when a prime SSM on drugs couldnt do what Pac did. That tells me Pac can be rated as high as you want rate him.
SSM is a seriously respected boxer now, so imagine SSM back then.

The so called experts base their opinions on what they see as well. When once upon a time they said they thought SRR was the best it was because of what they saw. And no one argued their opinion and it was good enough for you their opinion and the world of boxing.

thats my point right there. boxing experts are not Gods, just cuz they say a certain fighter is the best ever doesnt make it so. when they said SRR was the best ever i agreed not cuz they said so but bcuz i had seen with my own eyes he was the best ever. and those same eyes tell me pacquiao isnt close to as great a fighter as SRR.

its not about their opinion being good enough or not. if someone said duran was the best LW ever and monzon was the best MW ever i could agree on one withouth necessarily agreeing on the other. from what ive seen duran was the best LW ever and hagler was the best MW ever. that doesnt mean u can say "ohh his opinion was good enough when it came to duran but not monzon?". **** that, i can agree with some things without automaticly having to agree with other things. just bcuz i think someone is right once doesn mean i have to agree with them for the rest of my life.
