I guess the future of boxing is elbows, low blow, and headbutts, I guess that is why MMA is doing so well.

    Froch beat Ward.

Ward didn't land a single punch against Abraham in round 1.

HOW can you not give the first 2 rounds to AA?!?!?! I'm watching it now, and there is NO way Ward takes the first 2! No way! He has landed 2-3 punches total!

Ward looked pretty good last night. There wasn't a lot of clinching and when there was, it was mostly initiated by Abraham. One thing I've noticed is Ward needs to throw his straight right hand more. He's very good with his left, being able to throw it from any angle, but the right hand is only thrown occasionally.

Ward also has a weakness towards the jab. I think Froch might be pretty competitive vs Ward. I'll still pick Ward by competitive UD, but Froch will give him problems he hasn't seen before.

The thing about Ward, what makes him elite is he is able to adapt. He can go towards different gears and it really sets him apart from fighters like Bika, Abraham, and even Kessler. Kessler is very good at what he does, but he can't adapt to the other person's gameplan for ****.

I thought Ward looked pretty good last night. Showcased his talents and also showed some of his weaknesses.

Okay, Ward takes the next 3 no doubt. It's actually a pretty entertaining fight so far.

                i hope not

he's boring, dirty, and doesn't mind stinking up the joint.

Nevertheless, he is one of the most skilled boxers in the game presently. Thus, his presence will be felt up in hurrrr for years to come.

Nah man, Froch or Johnson will push him and equal him out as either guy will be the toughest fight of his career.

I thought Kessler was supposed to be the toughest fight of his career. Seeing how Kessler was favored to win the tourney and Ward took him to school even before the headbutts.

After being taken to school by Ward, Kessler beat Froch close but clearly.

IMO, Kessler is the 3rd best fighter of the tourney, and Ward already beat him. The 2nd best one there is eliminated, Andre Dirrell. Froch and Johnson are the 4th and 5th best. Abraham being last.

Styles make fights though, so I expect Froch to put up a better fight than Kessler did against Ward, because I think Froch has the style to make it a competitive fight.
