You have demonstrated a complete misunderstanding of my point. My entry was not about Pac-Barrera, it was about Hamed-Barrera to illustrate my opinion on the Pac-Mayweather fight.

I have been avidly following boxing since watching the Ali-Foreman fight (live on closed-circuit) with my dad when I was little kid. I never liked Hamed and I see your point. However, going into that fight I believe most "experts" were picking Hamed. HBO had a hard-on for Naz after his fights with Kelley and McCullogh, and I know that KO magazine predicted a 6th round knockout for Hamed. I see similarities with the respective Hamed-Barrera and Maywether-Pacquiao in the ring scenario

and my point was that your perception is very flawed because Barrera was just as complete and versatile a fighter against Pacquiao as he was against Hamed. Not only did Barrera fail to outbox pacquiao but he was knocked out.

Just as the TS's perception is also flawed because not only did Frazier win the 1st fight against Ali to take away Ali's undefeated record but he also arguably won the trilogy.

My point has nothing to do with Barrera-Pacquiao!! Barrera's versatility and completeness as a fighter that I referred to was how it related to Hamed...NOT PACQUIAO!!! The fact that Pac fought Barrera after the Hamed fight is irrelevant for the point that I was making. I could have used Marlon Starling's knockout of Mark Breland as an example, but Barrera-Hamed is a better known fight.

I just believe Mayweather would easily outsmart Pacquiao and defeat him

I believe Mayweather would have FAR much trouble with Mosley than he would with the dominating Pacquiao

Mosley MAY be Mayweathers Frazier. Just possibly....I still favor Mayweather.
the difference is that ali is brave and floyd is a coward.

The boxer with the broader fundamentals with the discilpline to execute in the ring won that fight and this is how I see Maywether-Pacquiao going, too. Nothing against Pac, I just think Mayweather wins this one.
Naz wasn't training right while Pac always gives it 100%

Naz thought he had it won easily while Pac doesn't IMO

if you look at any big name title fight, they all play out in that scenario. ie Leonard Duran, Hagler Hearns. They all have the same senario almost.

He won the first fight the lost the second and then lost the third. How did he "arguably" won the trilogy?

TS, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree. I see no parallels, certainly not Historically, Most definitely not Stylistically, nor Figuratively and not even literally.
