Comments Thread For: Gamboa vs Caballero, Juanma-Concepcion June Double?

According to reports in Panama, there are negotiations currently taking place for Celestino Caballero to dump the super bantamweight division to move up in weight to challenge WBA "regular" featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa. Caballero was recently stripped of the IBF's version of the title at super bantam. He still holds the WBA's "super version" of the title at 122. [Click Here To Read More]

Not interested in the Juanma fight but the Gamboa-Caballero bout there's a good fight that is not totally predictable.

Why is Gamboa fighting smaller opponents coming up in weight back to back while Juanma came up in weight to fight a bigger legitimate title holder and another fighter who arguably beat said title holder back to back?

u do realize caballero would be huge next to gamboa since hes almost 6 foot and hes in the ring p4p top 10 ... so now mental midget concepcion who got out boxed by luevano (theres no arguing that) is a tougher opponent then a 126lb cc ... get a clue

The fight was dead even on 2 out of the 3 scorecards at the time of stoppage. get the **** out of here.

and no i am not saying concepcion is a tougher opponent than caballero. Simply stating that Concepcion is a genuine proven world class contender at 126lbs. Caballero coming up in weight is smaller than Gamboa or Concepcion. (theres no arguing that)
