      given points 1, 2, 3... shouldn't floyd have stopped jmm ( a blown up lightweight)? just asking.
      What? you say he was a hard hitter at 130 then you say he shouldve stopped JMM when he WASNT weighing 130.

      Did Floyd come in the ring weighing 130? Did JMM?

        Why's that? Marquez wasn't even hurt. Just because Emanual Stewart commented that he though Mayweather was going to turn it up around the 11th and try to get Marquez out of there, doesn't mean Floyd "should" have knocked him out. I could see if he was hurt or had been beat on throughout the fight, but he wasn't. Marquez wasn't in very bad shape at all in the end of that fight. Saying he should have stopped Marquez is like saying Cotto should have stopped Mosley. Not much difference there.

          you know jmm is a blown up lightweight at 147 right?

          surely floyd should be able to stop a blown up lightweight. SURELY.

          jmm = blown up lightweight

          mosley = former jr middleweight

          can't fault cotto for failing to stop mosley. can fault floyd for not stopping a blown up lightweight.

            Yup, Floyd is boring as hell. Three quarters of those PPV sales are from folk who are rooting for the elimination of boringness in boxing. I'll make a bet that he will be booed big time in his fight with Mosley. He'll be forced to trade blows with him.

            In fact, I'm changing my prediction. He will lose this fight.

                  Mosley and Mayweather are also blown up lightweights, so that argument is weak.

                    floyd is boring, and only has a small handful of fights that were worth the money.................. he's had more stinkers by playing it too safe and carrying fighters........ and on top of it, cherry picking.

                    i'm excited that he's fighting mosley finally, at least we get to see floyd in a closer to even match up, still floyd has an advantage in the age department, but who knows, they might be on the same level. this is also a fight that will make floyd work, same with a pacquiao fight, that is why i think those two fights are worth it, because pac and mosley would make mayweather work, and then we can see if he's really the best.
