i agree....you can't jump from mayweather to Clottey and expect to do huge numbers......mayweather got so lucky with the whole Berto tragedy......Mayweather vs Mosley is the 2nd biggest fight possible in boxing

For some reason i think something can happen between now and a possible PBF vs Pac fight that won't make it unlikely the fight will ever happen. I won't flat out predict an upset but i think it is possible that either one of the two fighters can lose there upcoming fights.

One think important to note is if any of the judges can hold bias toward one of the fighters for not having the sport's biggest payday in recent time. Some thought the DLH lost in the 2nd mosley fight was due to some payback against bob arum. When you that all 3 judges had the same card 115-113 that is rare althoug not impossible. Its possible that there can be some payback against either of the fighters.

I think Clottey is somewhat predicatable but i think he will be very hungry since he thought he was robbed in the cotto fight; i had it 114-114 clottey winning 6-5-1; but the KD making it an even fight. Clottey has a decent jab when he uses it in both hands. He does throw quck uppers with both hands and his defense reminds me of quartay a fellow ghana fighter. But he dosent have the power that Ike had. Clottey dosent throw many right hooks as he prefers to use his left hook while holding his right glove up. But the right hook is the perfect punch against pac when he stretches his right hand and goes for that power straight left hand shot; pac leaves his body open to a right hook to the body.

Also the issue of headbutt can happen since Clottey sometimes moves his head forward on the inside as he did against Cotto. Clottey did beat Judah, Corrales, and was beating Baldomir until the DQ. His lost to Margarito was pretty close after 8rds and than some will argue that the plaster of paris hardened and it made Clottey less active. He seemed to run away in RD11. But Clottey has never BEEN KOD.

I think Pac should use his speed to get in and out. He better not stay in the ropes as he did with Cotto. Because Clottey can hurt him with a short two punch combos. I still think it will be hard for Clottey to win a decision but if there is any blowback than we will see it.

Mosley is possibly the biggest puncher that PBF will face in the WW division. He has speed and experience. I give Mosley about a 30% shot at winning which is much higher than guys like Hatton, Gatti, or JMM. Mosley has a granite chin and won't be scared in coming forward the entire fight and causing alot of pressure on PBF.

It would not be surprising for the Mosley fight to do more he is a much bigger name than clottey. This is already a bull **** excuse from Floyd. He knows Pac will never agree to anyhting less than 50-50, sounds like he's already setting up an excuse for a fight toward the end of the year. Sounds like a vintage Mayweather excuse.

I find the article funny that PBF is now trying to put up mosley's credentials by saying is a future HOF fighter. How many guys has PBF beaten that will go to the HOF? DLH who he barely beat since DLH as usual ran out of gas, Corrales is a possible and so is Hatton. I think Castillo is also an outside shot. Pac has beaten possibly 7 that will go to HOF: DLH, Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Cotto if he wins at 154, Hatton still has solid record, Larios, and if he gets a shot at another top fighter. He also beat a solid thai fighter Sakasal who was flyweight champ and had several defenses before losing to pac.

PBF keeps comparing himself to the greatest fighters. I have him top 80 but no higher than that. Guys like Henry Armstrong, SRR, Harry Greb, Mclarnan, Ali, Canzoneri, Louis,Charles etc. They all beat atleast 7 fighters who went to the IBHOF. These guys fought the best win, lose, or draw. Some great fighters have gone 100 or more fights without losing or even getting KOD. Until SRR lost to Lamotta he was like 101-0. A guy like Young Stribling went over 200 fights without getting KOD. A guy like Harry Greb who beat 13 future Hall of Famers actually blind in one eye and won fights. A guy like Monzon went didn't lose in his last 80 plus fights and actually fought with a damaged tendons and tissue in his leg after being shot. Mayweather use to be a badass but only at 130 and 135. He takes fewer risks and is very calculative.

PBF mocks SRL for getting KOD with Camacho when he was past his prime. Yet look at who SRL beat? He beat 4 guys are like top 60 P4P int the history of the entire sport. He was the first to beat Benitez who was an exceptional boxer. Benitez was only 17 when he won the JR WW title a record that i dont think will ever be broken. Benitez beat guys like Duran, Cervantes, and Palomino- all HOF. He gave Thomas Hearns a KO machine a close 15 RD fight. He even made Hearns miss 11 consecutive blows at the end of RD 2. SRL would be the first to make DUran say no mas, a guy who was like 72-1 and avenged his only lost with two brutal KO's. He than was the first to beat Hearns after losing the early rounds. This was despite with an eye injury and a fighter with a much greater reach. SRL than was the one stopped Hagler's 12 consecutive title defense streak. If that is not enough he beat a heavy handed tall fighter lalonde to win both the SMW and LHW title and was also the first to beat slick south paw Kalule to win the SWW title.

That is just a few names i put up there. One thing i respect about Pac is he dosen't put himself above the legends in front of him. PBF is insane if he thinks if he is even top 40 P4P.
