..yet he's considered at the weight he's best at, welterweight......right.....

You already have it here folks. If he admits before the fight he's having trouble making the fight at 147lbs, you already know he's coming into the fight losing.

        Look at the facts:
Clottey has been chasing big name fighters for years, rarely getting his chance. If he asked Pacquiao to fight at 154lbs, they would've declined because of Roach's decision not to bring Pacquiao up in weight. That would have been a bad business move on Clottey, losing out on millions.

It was a sacrifice to be made by Clottey but boxing at a professional level is not only a sport, but a business. It may be that this sacrifice will also be Clotteys downfall, unable to keep up with Pacquiao's quick work rate.

Anyways since you're all jumping on Clotteys words now, wouldn't it make sense that Pacquiao is stronger and faster at a higher weight because he's no longer drained? Hmm...make up your minds.
It's not his fault. This should be EXPECTED by Pacquiao and team by now. Pacquiao-Clottey looked dismal to begin with, and this just puts the nail in the coffin.

if thats how clottey feel, then why da hec.k did he accept da contract to fight pacquaio? theres no catcheweight and its set to fight at da 147 limit. clottey should be fighting as a jr mw @ the very least, or fight as a middleweight.

too many people accuse manny of catchweight this and that...
vs delahoya, manny didnt call oscar out, it was someone in the sports media...so manny agreed to meet delahoya at a proposed catchweight...if not for the catchweight, at what weight would the fight be fought at being that there was 3 to 4 division weight difference?

and the only other catchweight, where pacquaio did ask for a catchweight was against cotto...was the only catchweight that manny fought...and the catchweight of 145 was only 1 pound less than cottos average weigh-in weight of 146...and we all know that cotto came into the fight weighing just as big as he normally weighs in during the nite of a fight.

so catchweight is being so over exaggerated by pacquiao haters, its so funny...as if manny has been fighting at catchweights all his career.

if people are gonna talk about boxing, atleast know some facts/situation for a boxing match before making a comment or statement of opinion.

              EXACTLY!

everybody wants a piece of manny (except floyd), he's very lucky that he was given an opportunity to fight manny. he got the size advantage and could possibly pull this one if he knows how to use his size. a very good chance to boost his career, but it looks like he does'nt have the confidence. anyways, this will be a good tune up fight for manny on how to deal with tough, bigger and defensive fighter. a good preparation in case pac-floyd happens, imo.

How so? Dude said he's been fighting at WW for 16 years, now all of a sudden 147 is too hard to make? So was he weight-drained VS Cotto and Margarito? It can't go both ways, because it's convenient for your sake.

Lets use Pacquiao's reasoning for moving up, which also "debunks" the steroids rumor; he's getting older and bigger, thus making it more difficult for him to make weight.

                      PAC-Oscar wasn't at a catchweight but I get what you're saying.
