BoxingScene.com spoke with Shelly Finkel, adviser to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, to get his thoughts on the recent monetary demand from promoter Don King, who is negotiating on behalf of Nikolai Valuev. Team Klitschko offered Valuev $1 million dollars for a potential May fight. King countered with a $4 million dollar demand. Klitschko’s side came back to the table with a $2 million dollar guarantee, which might be more money than Valuev has made in any of his previous fights. Valuev wants one more big payday, his handlers know that he cant beat Vitali so they want at least make as much money as possible. This fight is just about money, it would be in an big german soccer stadium with over 60000 seats and it would make much money.The only interesting in this fight will be to see how it looks if Valuev gets knocked out.

I have to agree. He was likely to lose sooner or later, had he won his last one thinly he could perhaps command 5 mill.

Sadly for him he lost fair and square, they want a pay day and it'll be his last big fight if he takes it. Hence the stubbornness on 4 mill. How about compromise on 3 mill u greedy fooka's, I mean there is a recession on.
