It sucks because the guys are too damn big. The last couple decades had CW and LHW guys in there who moved up. 200 plus, but they had speed, threw combos, didn't have to clinch every other exchange. Not like current HWs got no skills, they're just huge. I like the Klitsckhos because they at least end methodical beatdowns with stoppages.

The NFL and the NBA pay millions. You can get Millions to sit on the bench. So that is why this Heavyweight Era is the worst.

Where is Ali? Tyson? Bowe? Lewis? Holyfield? Holmes? Liston? Frazier? Marciano? Dempsey? Johnson?

The heavyweight division is ass.

3) afraid to mix it up and get knocked out.........


i've never been a HW fan, even when i was a kid, growing up while tyson was king, i always liked the lower weight classes. there was more action, fights were more competitive, and the knock outs were still there, which is the main reason the HW's got so much attention, everyone wants to see a ko and everyone wants to see a big guy get ko'd.

but in my eyes, the HW division always lacked something, and it was the high level of competition, which i think died when lennox lewis left the sport, actually a little before he left, but his era of HW was the last of the real deal at HW.


it's just crap, and now they're talking about a super heavyweight division? i've been saying that for years that they should raise the weight limit or create another division for the giants of the world. the fomorian race.......


anyway, HW's suck when there are action fights at the lower weight classes. i think the last real good HW fight I saw was lyakhovich vs brewster.......... other than that, they've been crap, at least we had knock downs and guys going toe to toe.
